"Detroit" is a 2010 song, written by Martin and Michael Michaleke and recorded by Lumo the Cosmonaut. The song was written in one sitting as a spontaneous recording during a jam session one afternoon when Martin was back in Detroit for the summer. The lyrics were later revised and a Lumo recording was done, with Martin's older brother Michael playing lead guitar.
The song has been performed by The Lunatic twice (once at the Velour Battle of the Bands in December 2010 and another time at an "acoustic secret show" in February 2011.)
